Second annual Rock the Groundz Mid-winter Bash January 28th at Met Lounge with 69 Cents

You don't have to wait for the warm July sun to soak up the fun and excitement of Rock the Groundz, because we're bringing you a little taste of the Groundz this month with a 'Mid-winter Bash' featuring the band 69 Cents, Saturday, January 28th at the Met Lounge in Morris, Minn.

As the city of Mankato's royalty, 69 Cents is returning to Morris to kick off the anticipation of Rock The Groundz later this summer. Since first exploding on the local music scene outside of Minneapolis, MN in 1997, 69 Cents' signature high-energy and crowd-interactive live rock shows quickly became a top-draw "Party Band" tradition at countless clubs, festivals and street dances throughout the Twin Cities, greater Minnesota, Wisconsin & Iowa.

Band begins at 9:00 p.m. till 1:00 a.m. $5 cover at the door. 100% of the proceeds to toward Rock the Groundz IV this July 13-14, 2012.

Rock the Groundz planning committee members will also be selling the Show Your Stub calendar raffle throughout the night.

Rock the Groundz is a two-day outdoor rock music and camping festival held annually during the second full weekend in July at the Stevens County Fairgrounds in Morris, Minn. Rock the Groundz is presented by the Morris Eagles Club and Morris Auto Plaza, in conjunction with many local and regional sponsors.
